May 25, 2024; PHIT America, the national charity who is improving children’s physical and mental health, has added two new Board Members, Jeff Harrison and Edward Harvey. Jeff and Edward join 9 other Board Member to help PHIT America in various capacities with a focus on finding and securing new sponsors and partnerships to help more kids and more communities improve their health.

Baugh and the Brownsville ISD will discuss the opening of the first PHIT Center in the nation at Garden Park Elementary Fall 2024 and the community support needed to supply all 35 Brownsville ISD elementary schools with fitness programs.

PHIT America, the national charity that has already created over 1,000,000 active and healthier children, gets another boost from Impact 100 Palm Beach County. With a new grant of $100,000, PHIT America will activate 15 schools with over 10,000 children with its school running walking fitness program, AMPED. 5,000 of these children will also be introduced to PHIT America’s PLAY PICKLEBALL or PLAY TENNIS Programs.

UNICEF STUDY SHOWS USA KIDS ARE RANKED LAST IN PHYSICAL HEALTH AMONG 38 COUNTRIES
(WASHINGTON, DC) – October 21, 2020 - According to the UNICEF 2020 Report Card, USA Kids are ranked dead last in physical health. PHIT America, the national charity for kids’ health, is challenging Americans, in particular its 200 million sports participants and fans to step up to get kids more active and healthier. UNICEF looked at 38 countries and the USA was ranked last – 38th out of 38 countries in physical health. The USA was also ranked near the bottom (32nd) in both ‘skills’ & ‘mental well-being’.
PHIT America, whose mission is to improve the physical and mental health of 50 million children, is launching a national campaign, Which America Do You Want?, showing both “Today’s America” compared to a “PHIT America”.....
