HELP KIDS PLAY TENNIS! Act Now
PHIT America, a national charity dedicated to getting 50 million kids active, healthy, smarter and on the pathway to lifetime sports is launching a campaign to help kids learn to play tennis. Efforts led by sports industry hall of famer Jim Baugh, the founder of PHIT America, shines a spotlight on the increasingly dire physical and mental conditions of today’s youth, as a consequence of their physical inactivity. PHIT America has the tangible solutions, programs and proven research to combat this downward trend.
Help Kids Learn to Play Tennis Campaign.
Please show your support, sponsor a kid, sponsor a school, Sign the Petition for Healthy Kids, Become an Ambassador – there are many ways to get involved and help our youth improve their physical and mental health through tennis! For additional information, contact Jim Baugh, jim@phitamerica.org or Jolyn de Boer, jolyn@phitamerica.org.
To date, 1 million kids have been helped through PHIT America programs – healthier, smarter and happier kids - but there is a much bigger number to help! PHIT America works directly with the PE teacher with incentivized physical activity programs that also track activity levels and has added lifetime sports programs working with the USTA, USA Pickleball and Payne Stewart Kids’ Golf Foundation. Every program includes equipment, training, and also Billie Jean King’s Sweet Spot Training – simulators – to help kids increase their focus, concentration and success rate. Important to remember that if today’s youth do NOT learn basic skills early –how to throw, jump, catch, run, while ALSO making it fun – they will not have the inclination or find the success needed to stay in that sport.
